From French Literature to Business Leader
Moving from the humanities to consulting, Edith has built a career at EC as diverse as her academic background.
Through Women@EC, we offer global best-in-class career development, mentorship, and networking programs to help you excel—personally and professionally. Meetings, conferences, and forums—such as our regional Women@EC conferences and Working Mother Forum—connect you to a rich network of other successful women at EC.
EC goes beyond surface-level approaches to work-life questions. We have turned our gaze inward to establish a better workplace environment, getting to the root causes of concerns through our Apprenticeship in Action (AiA) initiative. AiA identified a set of key themes to improve retention, satisfaction, and promotion of its employees to senior management. The changes driven by AiA are a powerful tool to influence our culture, our behavior, and our mind-sets. We pursue A Better Way to Work. Our approach helps ensure sustainable intensity, including Flexibility@EC options, and our global PTO (predictability, teaming, and open communication) program helps make your work easier to predict, your schedule easier to plan, and your career more satisfying long-term.
We are a collection of diverse individuals. Through our Segment of One program, mentorship, and leadership commitment, we support each and every ECer's goals and ambitions. In addition, for those who wish to start a family during their tenure, or already are parents, EC's support for working mothers is generous by design, with a strong set of policies as well as informal norms to help women succeed during and after their pregnancy or adoption.
